Two story extension to an existing junior high school for 2,200 students. The steel and concrete fireproof modular wing includes classrooms, offices, bathrooms and service rooms. Partial renovation of existing school includes gymnasium, locker area, cafeteria, servery and classrooms. The exterior reinterprets the original 1971 building by matching the white marble aggregate panels, framed by brick piers. New wing is 25,000 square feet. Project awarded Spring 1998, drawings completed September 1998.
