SUNY Purchase Dorm 2

Master plan and conceptual design for student apartments in 13 buildings of two-story wood modular construction comprising 100 apartments. A total of 100,000 square feet of new construction is carefully integrated into a wooded, sloping site. The buildings terrace along contoured landscape and 18th century stone walls, with four units per floor facing in different directions to preserve a direct dialogue with adjacent forests and natural wetlands.
